Guangxi Transport Vocational and Technical College (GTVTC) is located in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China, and was founded in 1958. It has educated nearly 200,000 outstanding graduates in China.The College currently has three campuses—Kunlun, Yuanhu, and Xiangsihu—with over 25,000 full-time students enrolled and a total campus area of 180 hectares. The College comprises 11 academic departments and offers 48 programs, covering 8 major transportation disciplines, including road and bridge engineering, automotive engineering, logistics, transportation information, rail transit, and port and navigation. The College has established cooperative relationships with 35 overseas universities and institutions, and has taken the lead in establishing the China-ASEAN Innovation and Cooperation Center for AI in Transportation. As a vice-chair of the China-ASEAN Alliance for Transportation Vocational Education, the College has shared 20 items, including international professional standards, vocational standards, and teaching equipment, with ASEAN countries, and has established the China-Malaysia Smart Transportation Construction, Management, and Maintenance Laboratory as well as three China-ASEAN Institutes of Modern Craftsmanship. The College has been designated as an institution in the Double High-Level Plan (China's iniative to build a group of higher vocational schools and key specialties with Chinese characteristics), a national model institution for transportation vocational education, a Guangxi model higher vocational college, one of the first batch of national pilot institutions for modern apprenticeship programs, and a Guangxi pilot institution for international exchange and cooperation in higher vocational education.
